Join our Risk Management Group Operational Risk team and engage with the Macquarie Capital business; whose service offerings include corporate advisory, principal investing and financing, debt and equity capital markets and equities brokerage and research. In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your risk leadership skills and financial services experience to implement and further develop our Operational Risk strategy across the global portfolio.

What role will you play?
Leading a team of risk experts, you will continuously ensure efficient and effective risk management practices and pragmatic risk outcomes, and proactively identify emerging risk themes and strategic risk initiatives. You will work closely with senior business and risk management leaders across the group and be responsible for the continual refinement and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework. Reviewing and evaluating new business and change initiatives, you will ensure that key operational risks are identified and managed and will challenge the scope and outcome of business risk reporting, targeted assessments, significant incidents, key risk indicators, projects, and assurance activities. Additionally, you will serve as the Americas Regional Lead for RMG Operational Risk and help to drive the Operational Risk Management agenda with senior stakeholders in region, which will encompass ad hoc engagement with local regulators, presentations at regional forums and assisting Americas Operational Risk team members on strategic matters.
Salary range for this position: $270 – 370k /Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
