Operations Senior Manager | Regulatory Risk

Join our global Regulatory Operations team as a leader who creates business solutions that uplift Macquarie’s risk management capabilities. Our team has oversight of transaction reporting to the APAC and Americas regimes and manage Macquarie’s regulatory risk through identification of transaction reporting exceptions, performing analysis to determine root cause and resolution through collaboration with stakeholders.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for the oversight and smooth running of the team and review and approve their investigations and remediation, alongside the development of KPIs and KRIs and driving further improvements. As a leader you will ensure team adherence to internal and regulatory escalation and reporting policies, lead responses to ad-hoc compliance and business queries, incidents management investigations, coordinate and oversee upcoming project control testing and assess new product requests from a transaction reporting lens.

What you offer

  • 5+ years experience working in an operations, risk or similar regulatory/ OTC derivatives position within Financial Services
  • Strong people and/or stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to leverage data to provide insights and improvements
  • A flexible, proactive, solution-oriented approach and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
