Associate Analyst Equity Research - Telco, Media and Technology (TMET)

Join our Equities Research division supporting the Telco, Media and Technology (TMET) team in Sydney. The Equities Research team assists institutional investors in their investment processes. Natural curiosity is a core requirement of the role.

​​In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Collecting and generating data for fundamental investment analysis.
  • Writing investment reports. This includes writing reports summarising the analysis and conclusion for the listed companies under coverage and ultimately investment recommendations.
  • Client management. In addition to producing analysis and reports, the role includes engagement with our clients (equity investors) who may challenge, seek clarity or require an overview of the research conducted.
  • Internal stakeholders. Given the role’s engagement with the equity markets, perceptions of market sentiment towards certain companies is often sought by internal stakeholders.  
  • Corporate access. The associate will be responsible for assisting the lead analysts in the team with corporate and industry relationships.

 

You will gain exposure to key industry participants and will present to both internal and external stakeholders.
