Senior Campaigns Manager, Macquarie Asset Management


Utilise your experience in this fantastic opportunity to lead marketing campaigns across the wholesale and institutional channels in Australia and Asia for Macquarie Asset Management. Help drive the delivery of programs that build brand awareness and lead generation, and support the sale and retention of investment capabilities. By partnering with the sales/distribution and investment/product teams you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining high quality marketing campaigns that promote the Macquarie Asset Management brand and investment capabilities.

Your responsibilities:

In this role you will be providing strategic marketing and digital advice and tools for campaigns, measuring effectiveness of campaigns, and helping deliver leads to sales team. You can take the ambiguous, distil and develop a strategic plan. A key part of the role is to generate campaigns in partnership with investment/product teams. You will have a solid understanding of investment markets, can satisfy a diverse range of internal clients, and manage tight and conflicting deadlines.

  • Initiating and executing ongoing go-to-market campaign strategies with wholesale and institutional audiences.
  • Develop integrated campaigns with an effective mix of tactics including advertising, collateral, direct marketing, digital marketing, SEM, social media, and video.
  • Create and ideate strategic marketing programs that drive new leads, impressions and brand awareness, and key data insights into client behaviours and content preferences.

  • You are an individual focused on delivering to deadlines, ensuring quality output and demonstrating excellent attention to detail.

Your experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related field, or relative work experience is required.
  • Expertise with digital marketing tactics and strategies – including best practices for designing the most effective campaign strategies
  • Forward-thinking and creative with the ability to perform strategically.
  • Experience managing a media agency and the ability to work in a global, matrixed organisation.
  • Strong digital knowledge across paid and owned channels, delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • You thrive in a collaborative but autonomous environment and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior relationship management and influencing skills
  • Strong planning, organisational and project management skills
  • 12+ years of experience in a marketing, digital strategy and campaign strategy
  • Experience in the financial services industry, asset management, financial planning or B2B preferred.
