Project Coordinator – Cyber Security


This is a great opportunity for you to join Identity and Cyber Security Technology team. The Identity and Cyber Security (ICS) Technology team provides a safe and responsive environment that enables Macquarie to pursue opportunities with confidence.

Join our Identity and Cyber Security Technology team as a Project Coordinator andsupport the delivery of Security Lifecycle services to Macquarie’s businesses and support groups. As a Project Coordinator you will ensure the smooth transition of services through the security engagement pipeline, from project inception with security architecture through to security testing and security review of the project, enabling its transition into production.

The role will involve working with Security Architects, Security Consultants, tech leads, business managers and risk managers to ensure the security engagement pipeline is managed proactively throughout lifecycle of projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • advise / guide business on the security engagement process
  • ensure the timely triage and smooth flow of security engagements between the security functions
  • co-ordinate regular forums to prioritise tasks, address issues, review status
  • ensure all team space (including workflow, templates) is maintained
  • tracking of tickets to ensure SLAs are not breached
  • manage team timesheets
  • maintain an open dialogue with key stakeholders

Ideally you will bring:

  • experience using JIRA/Confluence
  • excellent communication skills and experience
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise where necessary
  • relevant project management certifications including Prince2 or PMI
  • ability to work under pressure
