We have an exciting opportunity to join our Monitoring and Governance team supporting the Commodities & Global Markets. You will play a key role in ensuring an effective control environment across our global organisation while being part of an inclusive and passionate team.

This opportunity will allow you to apply product control, financial accounting and reporting experience to your initiative as you’ll play a pivotal role to support our finance team with simplification and control initiatives. It will offer a variety of responsibilities ranging from navigating change, control frameworks, and BAU delivery models, where you’ll get a chance to immerse yourself in the business. It will entail understanding the risk surrounding a business framework which has equal input of transformation and BAU focus. You’ll have strong communication skills as the role will involve interaction at various levels. You’ll have the capability to deliver in timeline driven projects like Legal entity & trading portfolio simplifications with accountability and ownership for those targets. You will have the knowledge to review accounting outcomes of financial instruments using sound understanding of financial accounting of various financial products/reporting ledger/consolidation and financial instruments + their lifecycles.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be able to demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, good problem-solving capabilities as well as strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to balance between competing priorities. You’ll have a postgraduate accounting qualification, (MBA Finance, CA or CPA) as well as 7 years of relevant post qualification or post MBA experience.
