Vice President, Testing Centre of Excellence – Finance Management Group

Join the Testing Centre of Excellence team as a Vice President within the Financial Management Group. You will be an experienced testing professional within the financial services industry, with a curious, generous and collaborative mindset.

In this role, you will be joining a team of project professionals supporting Macquarie’s financial services team and with a main focus on managing the Testing Centre of Excellence team on projects in capital and liquidity reporting, Group Treasury, data, fusion general ledger, tax reporting and balance sheet reporting.

In partnership with the broader projects team, you will establish appropriate workstream governance and be accountable for end-to-end project testing including identifying and driving improvements in testing COE core objectives and initiatives. You will work across the test strategy, including developing testing processes and reviewing deliverables on test assignments. You will also drive efficiency and automations to improve these processes alongside a team of test analysts and managers; whilst managing project testing budgets.

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in technology or finance with test management, Prince2 and PMP experience. As well as previous experience in the financial services industry, a good understanding of the testing framework, processes, tools for test automations in finance, capital, liquidity and financial reporting systems is essential. Any prior experience in testing assignments on capital and liquidity reporting and experience managing centralised testing teams in financial services organisations will be advantageous.
