Executive- Alteryx Tester

Join our Financial Management Group’s Projects and Change team as an Alteryx tester. You will utilise your experience as an Alteryx Developer and testing skills on various initiatives driven by regulatory requirements. You will play a role as a testing partner with our business SMEs, data and technology teams to understand the design and manage testing deliverables, data validation and analysis.

 

In this role, you will help translate business requirements into specifications to implement workflow testing from multiple data sources using Alteryx solutions, maintaining and developing Alteryx code with zero defect delivery. You will also conduct various phases of testing, supporting UAT, including daily reporting on testing metrics and escalations. You will maintain robust testing documentation and artefacts. You will Design and test complex workflows in Alteryx, Standardize and automate companies’ processes using Alteryx and responsible for Data preparation, cleaning, blending, merging and creation of data models using Alteryx.

 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following experience and skills:

 

  • A degree in Information Technology, with 4-5 years’ post-qualification experience
  • A strong knowledge of Alteryx, other testing tools
  • Experience in databases (RDMS, NoSQL), Power apps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), RPA-BluePrism, UI Path, Data Hub, Confluence and Jira is advantageous.
  • Previous working experience in the banking and financial services industry is essential.
  • Must have understanding to be able to set up a robust and scalable ETL infrastructure to ensure high throughput on various Data Deliverables.
  • Ease of use of Alteryx macros, Analytical app and functionalities of Alteryx Gallery.
  • Good understanding of SQL table updates.
  • Identifies opportunities and must be able to recommend ways to improve the current working model.
