Join our team of passionate and multi-disciplined individuals working within the Identity and Cyber Security Technology division of Macquarie Group. We seek an energetic and empathetic Scrum Master to help foster a team culture of customer obsession, agile delivery, and innovation.
As a Scrum Master, you will be a positive leader and role model to the team. You will coach, organise, and guide the team on Agile/Scrum practices to ensure the best customer experience. You bring the best out of Agile ceremonies through facilitation, ensuring that activities are timeboxed and artefacts are visible to the team through visualisation techniques and tools. You will help to resolve conflicts, issues and actions and be involved in tracking and removal of impediments to progress as well as enable the team to estimate, plan and forecast deliverables.
You will have demonstrated experience in project delivery in an Agile work environment working across multiple functions. You will be able to bring confidence in working across various business groups and functional teams in multiple geographic locations. In addition, a background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or User Access Management (UAM) would be highly desirable.
To be successful in this role, you will likely possess the following qualities:
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile delivery role.
- Able to lead the teams through Agile transformation and WoW changes.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring team members with Agile principle and practices.
- Experience working in SAFE framework is desirable.
- Excellent servant leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- A fundamental understanding of software development processes and procedures
- Experience liaising with internal / external stakeholders and technology teams to monitor and resolve risks, issues and dependencies.
- A focus on value delivery over processes and tools
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence
- Professional Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Master is desirable
