Manager/AVP - Java Developer

Gurugram

Join us as a Full Stack/Java Developer within the Commodities and Global Markets Equity Risk Technology team in the Gurugram office.

In this role, you will join a dynamic team which builds and supports a suite of in-house developed, risk management systems for the Equity Derivatives and Trading business. You will have the opportunity to work with business stakeholders and analysts to gather and clarify requirements, design, implement, and test the code, and perform release coordination and execution. You will handle production support tasks in a dynamic DevOps environment to ensure the stability of the production environment.

Ideally, you will possess the following skills and experience:

· 7-12 years’ experience in Core Java development

· Hands-on experience in Spring Boot and building web services

· Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database

· Strong knowledge of messaging technology (E.g. MQ, Solace, Kafka)

· Working knowledge of JavaScript framework (E.g. Angular)

· Experience with Scrum, Agile framework and SDLC tools (E.g. JIRA, Git, Bitbuckets, Bamboo)

· Ability to translate business requirements into technical specification

Previous experience working with AWS or other public cloud technologies would be highly regarded, as is experience working with business users in financial institutions, but not essential.
