Corporate Actions Analyst


We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Actions Analyst to join an established team in Manila. The suitable applicant should be enthusiastic, flexible, competent under time pressure and is able to demonstrate initiative in a challenging and varied role.

Your responsibilities include end-to-end corporate action event life cycle across cash, non-cash and elective events for all equity and fixed income securities traded by the bank. Withholding tax and associated internal reporting obligations and processing client elections, entitlements, and counterparty claims. In addition, you will be interacting with external agents; custodians, clearers and depositories and responding to queries from middle-office, finance, and other interested parties.

To be successful in this role, you have accuracy skills, good eye for detail and strong commitment to completion and delivery. The ability to investigate issues and escalate effectively. You are self-motivated, independent and can work well under pressure. You have strong focus on teamwork and have effective communication skills. You also have the drive to succeed. You have a strong background in the financial/banking industry. You have an appropriate tertiary qualification in a finance-related discipline. You are amendable to work on public holidays and shifting schedules (including mid shift and night shift). You have the willingness to work extended hours during high volume day or staff shortage. You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, MS Excel & VBA.
