The Commodities and Global Markets group is transforming its in-house trading risk management platform, using the latest cloud-native technologies to drive scale and agility.
The Singapore Engineering team is being expanded to create a centre of excellence to drive modernisation of our most complex, globally distributed systems and implementation of strategic projects.
About You:
You are a seasoned technologist with a track record of delivering innovative and scalable solutions in complex environments, particularly in the financial markets industry.
Experience building and supporting large-scale distributed compute application environments.
Experience with cloud migrations and transforming applications to cloud-native technologies.
You think strategically but have a strong commercial focus and are committed to realising exceptional value for our business.
This role will entail forging strong working relationships with our globally distributed technology teams in addition to hands-on delivery of fundamental changes in the core platform.
A working knowledge of financial markets products, including derivatives, and how they are implemented in technology systems.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a learning mindset, and the curiosity to dive under the hood.
