Join the Risk Management Group’s Risk Culture team to support risk culture reporting and reviews that effectively assess risk culture across the Group.

As part of the Behavioural Risk division of Macquarie’s Risk Management Group, the Risk Culture team assist Macquarie businesses to determine the soundness, and enable the alignment, of culture to drive good risk outcomes. A sound risk culture has been integral to Macquarie’s risk management framework since inception and continues to be of high importance to the Group.

As a Risk Culture Analyst, you will be pivotal in supporting the data management used in risk culture reporting.

Your key responsibilities in the role will be:

• Develop and maintain new and/or existing Risk Culture Indicator dashboards
• Create supporting materials and documentation as part of strong model governance, data quality management and assurance processes, including user guides.
• Perform data management, data quality assurance activities and data analysis across multiple data sources as required
• Provide support in driving the success of Risk Culture initiatives more broadly. For example, this may include working with the team on workshops aligned with data and analytics uplift initiatives or to inspire innovation in behavioural analytics.

To be successful in the role, you will have: 

• Experience working with applications including or similar to PowerBI, Qualtrics, and long-form reports
• Intermediate knowledge of one or more technical tools and common data modelling/manipulation/analytics coding languages, e.g. R, Python, SQL
• Technical aptitude with strong problem-solving and analytics capabilities
• Strong detail orientation and organisation skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage a wide variety of tasks and project deliverables
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to enable effective collaboration across broad set of stakeholders at all levels; including ability to communicate technical concepts and findings to different audiences.
• Experience using the Microsoft Office applications suite with advanced competence in MS Excel
• Risk management experience in financial services is desirable.
