You will work in a multi-talented, diverse team across multiple geographical locations and implement solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic technology team delivering solutions for Enterprise Technology applications in Macquarie. 

Ideally, you will be someone who is highly motivated, with 5 plus years of experience and has a strong background in Web Development. You are meticulous, thorough and possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders. A self-starter, you are up-to-speed with the latest developments in the tech world and will conscientiously manage the end-to-end life cycle of your solutions using your CI/CD skills to engineer for and maintain production stability.

As a Full Stack Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement high quality software that is thoroughly tested and optimised
• Design software architecture and integration patterns in-line with industry best practice and build software solutions based on business requirements
• Uplifting CI/CD pipelines in line with industry principles
• Provide maintenance and enhancements to the existing code base
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform design and tool chain
• Support our test team to build automated testing and delivery
• Engagement with Product Owners and business stakeholders to recommend technology solutions
• Rapid learning and willingness to work with technologies and languages you may or may not be familiar with
• Understanding of security policies and restrictions that apply and creating solutions that comply with these rules

You will be passionate about technology and bring the following experience and qualifications:

• Angular 8+, HTML 5, CSS frameworks, NodeJS
• Java, Spring, Hibernate
• SQL, including performance tuning and design
• Understanding of testing (including Unit testing) and agile techniques
• Experience with AWS, Docker and Linux
• Evidence of the application of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standards

• Experience with Junit
• Exposure to UI design (UX etc)
