Manager/AVP- Liquidity Platform Business Analyst (QRM)

Opportunity for a Liquidity Platform Business Analyst with experience in financial services to join our Global Finance Services arm. In this role you will have plenty of  opportunities to use your initiative as you help manage the transition of Business as usual (BAU) support, data validation and analysis tasks to the Systems Operations Team in capital and liquidity reporting, and subsequently improve processes and enhance the scope of the team’s service offering. You will report to Global Operations BAU Support Team Manager in Gurgaon.

 

You will be responsible for delivering key liquidity reports and performance metrics, managing the system for Regulatory Reporting in LCR/NSFR (QRM/Axiom). You’ll be responsible for the data validation process including management of change requests, updates to rule logic and release management and get to use your SQL skills to deliver ad-hoc reporting to key stakeholders. You’ll also be providing user testing support and results analysis for both ongoing change programs and scheduled code releases. You’ll manage the Data Warehouse/Regulatory control framework ensuring documentation keeps pace with change in the system environment and help identify opportunities to improve processes while also acting as bridge between IT and the business and ensuring IT deliverables are a reflection of the business needs. You’ll be responsible for defining and maintaining efficient communication with senior management, Technology teams and business stakeholders and drive BAU change for Finance specifically related to Liquidity risk and BASEL regulations.

 

To be successful in this role you will have a degree qualification in either Finance or Information Technology with minimum 9-14 years of post-qualification experience. You’ll have strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases and Basic ETL/data warehouse concepts. Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is essential; background in systems accounting would be ideal and Financial instruments / product knowledge is preferable. You’ll have strong communication skills as the role will involve interaction with clients and colleagues at various levels and have an ability to engage senior stakeholders and work independently - initially in establishing a new service line, and over time in increasing the scope of the service line. You’ll have strong analytical and problem solving skills and very strong MS Office skills; particularly in Excel. It is also preferred that you’ve had some previous exposure to process improvement and project management methodologies and bring an ability to investigate business issues and identify technical root causes.
