About the role

As a Business Analyst, you will support the execution of a data capability implementation. This role will see you working closely with business and technical stakeholders across platforms and financial products.

• Work with business and technology teams to define business requirements for a broad spectrum of data capabilities, including source of truth mapping, lineage, controls, manual adjustments etc
• Documentation of user stories and creation of RACI’s
• Work with technology teams to iterate requirements and engage on solution design
• Support requirements and implementation for business self-serve data tools
• Collaborate with business users to implement and test solutions
• Support data governance activities such as mapping of data across the end to end lineage (often relating to trade and reg reporting)

About you

To be successful in the role you will bring with you prior experience in Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst roles in the Banking and Financial Services Industry – translating business requirements into technical data requirements as well as:

• Exposure to OTC products and familiarity with a wide range of trade (SEC, CFTC etc) and regulatory reporting (balance sheet reporting etc)
• Experience bridging the gap between Compliance and Technology
• Experience documenting user stories and creation of RACI’s
• Familiarity with report controls such as reconciliations

Familiarity with Macquarie trading systems would be highly desired.
