As a pro-active and delivery-oriented software engineer, you will work in our Corporate Operations Group providing technology solutions for our Commodities and Global Markets business.
This is a great opportunity for an Engineer who wants to shape their own career and deliver in a global institutional environment. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and draw on your collaborative and problem-solving skills to achieve optimal outcomes for your stakeholders in a space that is undergoing a large transformation.
You will think critically by combining your business and technical domain knowledge to build out the capability our features in line with business and regulatory needs. This is a T-shaped role where you will gain exposure and be accountable for your delivery from analysis and design, development, testing through to implementation. You would have strong communication skills to liaise with applications teams.

Ideally you will have:
- Knowledge software design and application architectural practices
- Experience and understanding of modern C++ (11/14/17)
- Experience with Linux
- Experience in relational databases, data structures and algorithms
- Experience with working within automated testing environments
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and results oriented
- A knowledge of the banking & finance industry could be beneficial, but not mandatory
