We are seeking an experienced company secretarial and governance professional that is keen to join a high performing team. This role provides key advisory support to senior directors and business and central services groups on company secretarial practice, corporate governance, company law and internal policies.

You will manage regular board and committee meetings for key regulated entities and holding entities, and have opportunities to contribute to global policy, process improvements, subsidiary board practices and innovation projects.  The role reports to the ANZ Regional Head of Governance and in this role you will have the opportunity to lead and coach other members of the team.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a minimum of 6 years’ experience including experience with an Australian Financial Services Licenced entity and hold a graduate diploma from the Governance Institute of Australia or Chartered Governance Institute.  

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and a demonstrated client service focus. You will have strong attention to detail, organisational and prioritisation skills.  You will be comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively with a focus on team goals and objectives. Your integrity along with the ability to escalate relevant issues and identify pragmatic solutions will be key.
