Test Manager - Transaction Reporting Technology

Macquarie’s Transaction Reporting Technology team is hiring an experienced Test Manager to support regulatory reporting deliveries in global markets.

The Transaction Reporting Technology team is responsible for ensuring complete, accurate and quality regulatory reporting to global regulators. The team works closely with and supports the Market Operations Division in automating operational processes for regulatory reporting, exceptions management, reporting amendments, data analytics and management information dashboards.

The team adopts a cloud-first approach leveraging the latest technology stacks. You will have the opportunity to work with state of the art technologies in online transaction processing and online analytics processing.

You are part of a global technology team spanning Sydney, Singapore, Gurugram (India) and London. You will be supporting operations users based in Sydney and work closely with colleagues based in London who are supporting operations users in London. The core engineering team is based in Gurugram.

As Test Manager, you are part of a high performing test team. You will be hands-on, designing test strategies, driving test execution, managing user acceptance testing, engaging stakeholders and managing delivery risks. You have a “can-do” attitude, can take ownership of deliverables, are self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Stakeholder management with Operations team and if required, Business and Compliance teams.   
  • Developing technical & domain expertise within the test team
  • Working in a dynamic environment managing test deliveries across multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
  • Driving innovation, improving quality practices and developing comprehensive test automation suites (functional, regression, and performance tests)
  • Managing test environments to support testing deliveries
  • Developing metrics to measure progress and continuous improvements

You will have:

  • 5 – 10 years of industry experience, preferably in capital markets regulatory space
  • Experience in designing and scaling test automation frameworks
  • Experience in test automation (Selenium, Robot Framework, Web driver, Appium, JMeter etc)
  • Experience in API based testing
  • Good knowledge of Python, Java, SQL, Unix, Cucumber
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong in creating testing documentation
