Front Office Recruiter - Asset Management


We are delighted to be recruiting for an Onsite Front Office Recruiter for the Macquarie Group, based in London, to work closely with the Recruitment Lead in providing a superior recruitment service and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders within Macquarie Asset Management. 

Role Purpose

Drive experienced hire recruitment for Macquarie Asset Management in the EMEA region. Provide support and guidance on appropriate sourcing strategies for each position and manage the process through to completion.

Maintain key internal relationships with the Onsite Recruitment Team and Centre of Excellence colleagues, Macquarie HR colleagues, Hiring Managers as well as external relationships with 3rd party agencies, Candidates, Referral Networks, Social Networking Communities, Job Boards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment life-cycle for experienced hire recruitment within the portfolio
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key client stakeholders to build credibility and trust in the Macquarie Resourcing Team’s expertise and advice
  • Devise and deliver creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage the best candidates in the market
  • Generate candidates directly using innovative sourcing methods (Pro-active sourcing techniques, internet job advertising, search analytics, networking, referrals, Careers website, employee referral schemes etc)
  • Actively drive the recruitment supply chain to ensure optimal partnering and results, including supplier management
  • Partner effectively with on-site clients locally and globally, including HR Business Partners, Reward, Employee Relations and Compliance specialists, to construct and negotiate complex offers and navigate regulatory requirements
  • Manage offers and on-boarding for candidates identified by the business
  • Ensure internal and regulatory compliance is adhered to throughout the recruitment end to end process
  • Act as a Consultant to the business/client, to negotiate & influence strategy and outcome
  • Take an active role in Resourcing and wider HR project work, including diversity hiring and recruiting events & activities
  • Provide stakeholders with market data and activity information to assess talent pipeline for current and future needs as well as facilitate feedback conversations with key stakeholders and candidates
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring leaders, establishing the credibility to guide the business on how to improve process and enhance the candidate experience
  • Provide exceptional candidate care through all stages of the recruitment process, ensuring that successful and unsuccessful candidates alike have a positive experience engaging with the brand.

Required Experience and Competencies

  • 3-6 years of relevant recruitment experience gained in-house, RPO or Agency.
  • Experience of working effectively with hiring managers and HR colleagues to fill time-sensitive positions
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
  • Open minded, inventive with commercial thinking and a solution-focused mindset
  • Strong achievement drive, resilience, flexibility and commitment to delivery
  • Team player with proven ability to multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Expertise across a broad range of sourcing channels, including social media
