Manager, Group Treasury - Capital Platforms

Join a high-calibre, collaborative workplace where you will be involved in developing solutions relating to regulatory capital and capital related regulatory change within Macquarie’s Group Treasury division.  This is a unique opportunity which will necessitate you to think broadly, be forward-thinking and proactive, and consider how domestic and international regulatory changes will shape Macquarie's business activities.

You will work closely with other areas of Group Treasury and the Financial Management Group. In this varied role, you will also work with business units to understand the impact of on-going prudential regulatory change, as well as providing your expertise within the area of capital.

In this role your technical skills and qualifications will include:

  • A relevant academic background in a financial or quantitative degree, e.g. actuarial, accounting, economics, engineering, mathematics
  • Previous experience and knowledge of capital reporting or capital projects involving transformations in regulatory capital calculation systems– will be viewed favourably
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills coupled with an ability to understand and succinctly explain complex data
  • Clear & concise written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of management including non-technical stakeholders

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

  • Active involvement in regulatory capital development work.
  • Analysis and understanding of complex capital data.
  • Having an eye for detail with the ability and curiosity to investigate when required
  • Showcasing commercial acumen and an ability to ‘see the bigger picture’
  • Working in a dynamic, diverse environment and adapting to change
  • Collaborating with stakeholders from multiple different work backgrounds
