Project Manager

Join the Financial Management Group and contribute to the success of an emerging team as a Project Manager. Your demonstrated success in a role within a financial services business as a Project Manager and experience within a project delivery team will ensure you are a suitable candidate for this role. You will work across finance functional teams and focus on business process change projects and/or policy / standard implementations. 

As a Manager in the team, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities, however your key focus will be implementing the new Finance Control Polices / Standards. This will see you working with stakeholder groups across Finance, Operating Businesses and Risk. The Finance Control Standards sets out expected principles of control that must be consistently applied across multiple geographies and jurisdictions to appropriately identify, manage and reduce risks.

You will be responsible for coordinating across multiple streams within the projects, assisting with the execution of change management and communication plan, delivering the finance control standards as per the scope of the project. You are responsible to ensure high quality outputs delivered within the agreed timeframes across multiple geographies and functional teams. 

To be successful as a candidate for this opportunity, you will bring knowledge of, and a genuine interest in working on business process change and/or implementation projects in the financial services industry. Preferred experience in risk, policy implementation projects. Normal project reporting, risk/issue identification and management as well as problem-solving will also form part of your duties.  Experienced senior level internal and external stakeholder engagement and relationship building is a crucial part of success in this position. Experience with project delivery in risk and policy implementation, change management as well as strong communication and influencing skills are advantageous. Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills and a flexible, solution-oriented approach to project management are a must.  CA/CPA qualifications are an advantage.
