Join our Green Investment Group team as a French Offshore Wind Project Development Manager, and support the Group’s transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.
As part of our Asset Creation team, you will focus on the Offshore Wind development activities of the Green Investment Group in France. Reporting to the Head of the Asset Creation team, you will work closely with various partners of the Green Investment Group and local teams on the development of offshore wind energy in France.
You will bring a minimum of five to ten years of work experience, including at least five years’ experience in the development of offshore wind energy projects, ideally gained in France, covering stakeholder engagement, planning & managing the environmental and consents process and grid connection solutions. You will have actively participated in one or many of the previous French auctions (AO1 to AO4) for Offshore Wind projects.
You will also possess a very strong technical understanding of offshore wind energy infrastructure, and a thorough knowledge of French onshore and offshore planning law. As a point of contact for project and joint venture partners, you will have excellent report writing and presentation skills. You will be a confident communicator to a range of audiences, be comfortable managing a team of development professionals and have strong people coordination skills.
You will be fluent in both French and English. The role can be based in Paris or London, with frequent travels in other relevant French locations.
