Enterprise Architect

This is an exciting opportunity for you the experienced Enterprise Architect to partner with the Corporate Real Estate, Group Procurement, Business Resilience, Legal, Macquarie Foundation, and Corporate Affairs businesses at Macquarie to deliver the digital strategy and value for our business.

You will be responsible for identifying and adapting architecture solutions to transform how our business operate. You will utilise your leadership skills to successfully link business and technology strategies, ensuring the right solutions are in place and drive a roadmaps to ensure current/ future needs are delivered. 

You will have strong analytical, problem-solving skills and enjoy working with technology teams to ensure sustainable, secure, and reliable outcomes are being delivered.  You will build close working relationships with key stakeholders across the business areas being supported, and work collaboratively with a range of technology teams.

You will identify, qualify, and propose strategy, initiatives and solutions aligned with business outcomes. Develop and communicate the customer outcomes for technical solutions, collaborate across different technology teams to ensure overall integrity, security, and consistency of the delivered solution and lead planning and prioritisation activities, coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of existing and target architectures.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • strong customer facing and presentation skills as well as proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • experience and understanding of architecture, consultancy, and delivery methodologies
  • experience and understanding of technology practices, in particular across data and integration areas
  • a collaborative and proactive approach
  • a willingness to challenge the status quo
  • a strong knowledge of the current/future state of industry technology solutions and trends.
