As Sr Associate, you will be responsible for supporting data management operations related to Cloudera/AWS based big data platforms, supporting the Alteryx and PowerBI user community in accessing and utilising the big data platform, testing and validating data change requests as part of regular SDLC change management, troubleshooting production issues related to data applications and recognising opportunities for enhancements in data processes, reports and controls.
We are looking for prior education in Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics and/or any other relevant quantitative discipline. This includes a minimum Bachelor’s degree qualification with strong academic performance.
To be successful in this role, you will have post-qualification experience of 2-4 years with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with data and various back end systems for risk management or financial services. You will have experience with some of the data analysis tools such as SQL, IDQ, PowerBI, Alteryx and be familiar with the end to end process of extracting, cleansing and presenting data in a format to non-technical end users
