The Macquarie Recruitment Partner plays a key role in developing the talent acquisition strategy, providing people leadership for a specialised team and ensuring high level execution of recruitment processes in partnership with key stakeholders across specified business areas.
As a subject matter expert with extensive knowledge and experience leading a talent acquisition function, you will ensure your team have the resources and are aligned to deliver outstanding talent identification and acquisition outcomes in support of specific business strategies and hiring initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate your capability in four key areas;
You will lead a team who are focused on developing positive relationships at all levels across the organisation and provide expert recruitment advisory consultation in partnership with your HR colleagues, business leaders, hiring manages and potential candidates.
By demonstrating your depth of relationship management experience, you will promote positive engagement between the recruitment team and external recruitment partners and ensure they are strategically and commercially aligned Macquarie’s talent acquisition strategy.
STRATEGY & EXECUTION
In partnership with business stakeholders and your HR colleagues, you will drive the talent identification & execution strategy to ensure your team consistently provide a high level of candidate & hiring manager experience for all hiring activity across Macquarie's revenue businesses.
You will have a proven track record of leadership, development & coaching of a high performing inhouse recruitment team and experience supporting complex, technical businesses with diverse talent needs.
SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE
Your prior professional experience and ability to effectively partner with business leaders and senior candidates at all stages of the search & selection process - being viewed as a trusted talent acquisition advisor will ensure your success in this role.
Building technology enabled sourcing strategies, promoting networking opportunities and knowledge sharing among the inhouse sourcing & consulting team, you will lead your team’s efforts to directly engage with future talent in the external market.
KNOWLEDGE, DATA & ANALYTICS
You and your team will provide thought leadership, insights & market trends from key hiring data and external sources to guide recruitment strategy and decisions relevant to your business coverage areas.
Ensuring your team provide stakeholders with real time market intelligence, systematic hiring analytics and insights into talent identification, hiring performance and diversity statistics, you will enable business stakeholders to identify and engage with potential future talent.
Part of the central Human Resources function based in Sydney, we are a high performing team of talent acquisition professionals who pride ourselves on our partnership capabilities, technical expertise and drive to improve and transform our service offering.
You will ideally have a tertiary qualification in HR or a related degree and show a depth of experience as a talent acquisition people leader with experience within the Banking & Financial Services sector across revenue functions such as; M&A, Advisory, Capital Markets, Commodities, Asset/Investment Management.
