Work within a global support team for our Finance Operation & Risk Technology division and showcase your strong business analyst skills in this initial 6 month contract. Leveraging your existing skills, you will also be working on our PeopleSoft General Ledger and BCS Integrity Applications, providing you the opportunity to develop new skills in your field. The role will require your deep knowledge of the functional capabilities of a General Ledger system and your ability to assess issues/defects and provide solutions with no supervision required.
It’s important for you to be able to demonstrate experience of previously working in complex environments with multiple system integrations across the business. You will be interacting with senior finance stakeholders so your experience with change management processes, designing test cases and test strategies is essential too.
As an experienced member of the team you will have an appreciation for risk management policies and procedures. Presumably, you will also help support, train and develop staff on policies, procedures and business systems, so your advocacy in this area is paramount. A strong capability in requirements-gathering is needed, and the ability to translate business problems into business requirements, respecting how they fit in with the services we deliver.
Ideally your background will include:
- a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, or computer science
- at least 3-5 years of extensive general ledger support experience, ideally with PeopleSoft General Ledger version 8.8
- understanding of accounting concepts and experience with management and financial reporting a plus
- understanding of SQL coding.
