As an Analyst for the Business Support Team at Macquarie Capital’s Jacksonville office, you will be given responsibility that includes preparing, administering and managing aspects of the portfolio review process. You will work with deal teams to solicit comments and prepare the final reviews portfolio for executive management. In addition, you will review and analyze financial documentation supplied by the borrowers and investors, including non-standard reporting.
To be successful, you will likely have 1-2 years’ experience in Investment Banking, Professional Services, Management Consulting or a similar role. You must have sound understanding of financial, accounting and risk management, as well as knowledge of the loan product and the syndicated loans and equities businesses. In addition, you should have strong conceptual and analytical skills, with an ability to envision the “big picture” while maintaining a hands-on approach and a close attention to detail.

The Macquarie Capital Business Support Team maintains ownership of various responsibilities across business specific functions including, but not limited to loan portfolio credit reviews, transaction specific deliverables, ad-hoc projects and operational support. Initially, the majority of the Business Support Team’s time will be dedicated to loan portfolio credit analysis, but over time that will change, and the team will be asked to conduct a wide range of tasks as more responsibilities are migrated.
