Are you an experienced Scrum Master who is passionate about Agile delivery, technological innovation and cyber security?

The Identity & Access Management team is transforming Macquarie’s global IAM capability. The multi-year program will design and implement new processes, systems and operating models to strengthen controls and enhance the employee experience.

As our Scrum Master you will be responsible for facilitating effective team ceremonies including the daily stand-up, sprint planning, showcases and retrospective meetings and managing the Scrum process via the coordination of the Scrum team using Agile methodology. You will be committed to ensuring any impediments to the Scrum team are removed and ensure the facilitation of a team environment to release value on time and using metrics effectively to improve the performance and quality of the team.

You will work closely with the Product Owner to shape the product backlog for upcoming sprints and act as a safeguard for the team from external interference and over commitment. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring quality standards are high at all times and manage the technical interdependencies between teams and stakeholder groups. Lastly, you will be proactive in the promotion of continuous improvement and Agile maturity uplift.

You will have proven Agile delivery experience in enabling new teams to reach a higher level of performance, strong multi-level stakeholder and relationship management skills, and experience working with software vendors.

This role would benefit from a strong technical background and familiarity with IT terminology and experience in Cyber Security related projects. Certified Scrum Master accreditation would be highly desired.
