Are you a Data & Analytics thought leader who thinks strategically to build a future vision with experience of, and a passion for, leading and mentoring people?

You’ll be responsible for end to end data and analytics for our Wealth Channel, leading and mentoring an Analytics team that’s customer centric and delivers commercial analytics, data and reporting solutions to turn data into actionable information.

You’ll support the Chief Analytics Officer in creating and maintaining a pioneering and world-class analytical capability to get a competitor advantage and to develop new market opportunities for Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services Group.

Managing multiple projects, BAU and ad-hoc activities across the team, you’ll deliver high-quality outputs on time and in budget. Building analytics assets across the stakeholders group, data and insights will drive decisions, revenue and market opportunities in Wealth Management.

Your strength of relationships with key internal and external stakeholders will create outstanding engagement to deliver vision. Managing Agile boards, you’ll engage stakeholders in the prioritisation process so the team is focused on the right priorities in a transparent way.

Reviewing existing solutions, reports and data assets you’ll develop a strategic plan across the stakeholder group to move these into the Big Data platform using new tools and technologies.

You’ll lead thinking on integration of analytics with the banks digitisation, Robotics and AI strategy. Advocating new ways of analysing data to provide pioneering new analytics products and services for the Wealth business.

Partnering with Vendors, external consulting firms, industry bodies and like-minded organisations to continuously look for opportunities, best practice and drivers to grow and improve the analytics offering.

To be a success in this role, you’ll have extensive experience of consulting stakeholders to understand business needs and translating these to analytics use cases to deliver business outcomes, customer insights or Big Data Projects, using advanced analytics methods, modelling and or statistical techniques.

You’ll have experience working with tools including or similar to Alteryx, R, Python, Tableau, SPSS, SQL, Hadoop, Hbase/NoSQL, Spark and Storm. Your degree and/or Masters will be in a quantitative subject.
