Join Macquarie Asset Management as a Real Estate Asset Manager in our Santiago office!

As a Senior Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing Core/Core+ assets in Chile and Peru’s office, retail, and logistics markets. Your main tasks will include reporting, business plans, IFRS checks, PM report checks, budgets, cash projections & asset business planning.  

In this role you will:

Operating Expenses & Capital Expenditure management

  • Approving quotes, checking and approving received invoices, compare to budget and coordinating CapEx works;
  • Supporting leasing & client relations with contract negotiations, maintaining contact with tenants via email, phone or in-person meetings;
  • Reviewing & revision of invoices to tenants, frequent meetings with PM, renewal of insurance policies;
  • Managing the leasing of vacant units through brokers or directly with existing tenants, oversight of delinquency and follow-up with tenants;
  • Review, report and execute ESG and WHS policies

Acquisitions support

  • Quarterly updates on market conditions and reports. Meet with brokers and general feedback of market information.
  • Quarterly tracking of the latest asset and leasing transactions.
  • Deal sourcing support with developers, managers, and investors.
  • Networking for disposition opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor’s degree (or any combination of education or experience evaluated to be equivalent to bachelor’s degree) in Business Administration, Real Estate or related field (Economics, Finance, Engineering or Architecture), ideally complemented by a master’s degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA, Finance or Real Estate). You will have experience with preparing impeccable presentations and Excel spreadsheets, together with cash flow forecasting software such as Argus, rent roll analysis, detailed recovery structures, investment, valuation & reporting, modeling, and auditing & risk analysis. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. It is key that you hold at least 5 years of commercial real estate Asset Management experience. Acquisitions experience will be a plus. Prior experience must include asset management, property management or development.
