Marketing Manager - Institutional Investors

Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) is a global asset manager that aims to deliver positive impact for everyone. We are seeking an institutional marketing manager to help drive marketing initiatives around these focus areas to our clients and key stakeholders.

You will partner primarily with the Client Solutions Group (CSG) teams and other key internal stakeholders such as investment teams, Corporate Affairs and the broader marketing organization to organize campaigns and ongoing promotional activity designed to drive clear and consistent messaging to institutional investors across our private markets business, encompassing real assets, real estate and private credit.

 Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Collaborate with sales team to understand business objectives, selling processes, investor interests; serve as one of the voices of institutional marketing to the broader marketing organization and internal stakeholders
  • Help develop and execute the institutional marketing plan across private markets – focused on increasing the reach and impact of our messaging that differentiates and establishes MAM’s position as one of the world’s largest infrastructure manager and a leading investor in private markets.
  • Manage and execute multi-faceted, integrated marketing campaigns (e.g., email, social media, marketing partnerships, events, videos, podcasts, website and intranet updates) in addition to journey development and content creation
  • Analyze campaign metrics and identify KPIs on an ongoing basis to determine campaign success and provide insights based on data and feedback on how to improve future campaigns
  • Develop and manage MAM-specific content, communications, and work with event marketing on executing events and sponsorships
  • Partner with CRM teams to optimize email distribution and establish process for lead generation
  • Conduct ongoing competitive research on topics key competitors are focused on and where they are being featured
  • Proactively build connectivity and find synergies by sourcing and sharing information with colleagues; global coordination for our flagship campaigns

Work Experience/Knowledge:

  • Experience in institutional asset management communications/program management and/or alternative investments marketing preferred
  • Experience leading multi-faceted communication projects through execution with sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to translate technical information into compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences 

Skills/Other Attributes Required:

  • 7+ years overall marketing, communications/content experience,
  • Effective team player, with strong collaboration skills and a desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed corporate environment across various business and functional teams
  • Highly organized individual that is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to interact well with and inspire confidence of senior management
  • Excellent presenter

Education, Licenses/Registration/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree required
